Terms of Service

1. Overview

These terms govern your use of Bingebrief ("the Service"), a subscription-based entertainment newsletter and physical digest. By subscribing, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Subscription Plans

Bingebrief offers three membership tiers:

• Monthly: $40/month recurring. $150 one-time membership fee at signup. Cancel anytime.
• 6-Month Commitment: $180 billed every 6 months ($30/mo). $125 one-time membership fee at signup. No early cancellation during term.
• 1-Year Commitment: $300 billed annually ($25/mo). $100 one-time membership fee at signup. No early cancellation during term.

All prices are in USD. Applicable shipping fees are charged once at signup based on your location within Canada.

3. Membership Fee

Each plan includes a one-time, non-refundable membership fee charged at the time of your first purchase. This fee covers account setup, your welcome package, and access to member-only features. The membership fee varies by plan and is clearly displayed at checkout.

4. Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• Monthly plans renew every month. 6-Month plans renew every 6 months. Yearly plans renew annually.
• You will be charged on the same calendar date as your original subscription start date.
• All payments are processed through Stripe. Failed payments may result in service interruption.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Monthly plan: Cancel anytime. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
• 6-Month and Yearly plans: These are commitment-based plans. No early cancellation or refunds are available during the active term. You may cancel renewal before the next billing cycle begins.

6. Refund Policy

• Membership fees are non-refundable.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable.
• Subscription charges for commitment plans (6-Month, Yearly) are non-refundable once the term has begun.
• Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable for the current billing period.
• If you do not receive a physical digest shipment, contact us within 30 days for a replacement or credit.

7. Deliverables

• Digital edition: Delivered monthly via email to your registered address.
• Physical digest: Shipped every 6 months to your registered Canadian shipping address.
• Member-only access: Rankings, early access content, and exclusive features available through the Bingebrief platform.

Delivery timelines are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Shipping

Physical digests are shipped within Canada only. Shipping rates are:

• Alberta: $10 flat rate
• Outside Alberta: $15 flat rate

Shipping is a one-time fee charged at signup. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Bingebrief is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the subscriber.

9. Content and Intellectual Property

All Bingebrief content including reviews, rankings, digest layouts, and branding is the intellectual property of Bingebrief. Subscribers may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content without written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your subscription access or login credentials with others.
• Redistribute Bingebrief content commercially.
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content.
• Provide false information during signup or checkout.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. In such cases, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

12. Limitation of Liability

Bingebrief is provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted service, content accuracy, or delivery timelines. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding any claim.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
